Youth (6th - 12th grade)
As young people begin the transition from childhood to adolescence, their inquisitive spirits are nurtured. Students read and discuss the Bible, seeing how it applies to their everyday life as they grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Junior high and senior high students each have their own class on Sunday morning for Sunday school and for Wednesday evening bible study.
At Ovilla United Methodist Church Youth we strive to grow deeper in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Please join us on our journey as we commit to do good through service, mission, fellowship, prayer, and our presence.
We meet weekly for bible study, prayer, food, fellowship, friends, games, and worship. We have a great group of youth sponsors who are dedicated to serving.

Fuel Worship
On Sunday evenings, from 6:30-7:30, we offer a worship service geared toward youth. The music is very current and the message is appropriate for youth. Each week we provide a worship experience that refuels you for the week ahead and motivates you to grow in your love and understanding of God.
Sunday School

Wednesday Evenings
On Wednesday evenings, from 6:00-7:00 and 7:00-8:00 we provide Bible Studies for both Junior High and Senior High youth. These Bible Studies are will help you grow in your faith and understanding of the word of God. We invite you to come and dig into the Bible with us! Junior High Bible Study is from 6:00pm to 7:00pm and Senior High Bible Study is from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
Mission Trips
Each summer the junior and senior youth each participate in CTCYM (Central Texas Conference Youth in Mission) mission trips. Junior High travel to locations in Texas while Senior High destinations are out-of-state. In January, we also have a weekend mission trip called our, "Here, There, and Everywhere Tour." The HTE Tour works with urban ministries and is over Martin Luther King Weekend.
