ANNOUNCEMENTS & ACTIVITIES
After Sun., 3/22 worship service, join us in writing Scripture verses on the floor of the main sanctuary before carpeting is installed. We will be honoring the Lord and literally standing on the Word of God! Markers will be provided, and assistance if needed, for writing your favorite Bible verse.
All proceeds support missions near and far!
The Missions Garage Sale is the only fundraiser for all the outreach/mission we do at OUMC.
We need your prayers, donations and time. Please sign up in the foyer. Thanks so much!
Donations accepted include:
Clothing for men, women and children Holiday items
Baby items (no car seats) Toys and games
Sports equipment Tools
Housewares Linens
Art work Books
Furniture*
*Please note that furniture may only be delivered by the owner on Friday between 3:00 and 8:00 pm or early on Saturday before the sale starts. All unsold furniture will need to be picked up by the owner that day if not taken by the donation truck.
We cannot accept:
Car seats, mattresses, printers, computers/computer monitors, VHS/cassette tapes, building materials, used underwear/lingerie, used cosmetics/toiletries, non-working electronics, box TVs or anything stained/damaged/broken.
Garage Sale Schedule
Wed., April 15
9 am - Noon: Accept and sort donations
3 pm - 8 pm: Accept and sort donations (supper provided)
Thurs., April 16
9 am - Noon: Accept and sort donations
3 pm - 8 pm: Accept and sort donations (supper provided)
Fri., April 17
9 am - Noon: Accept and sort donations
3 pm - 8 pm: Sort and price only (no further donations accepted)
Sat., April 18 - Wear your OUMC shirts, please!
8 am: The sale starts
2 pm: Load up unsold items into the donation truck and clean up

As you're gathering your items to donate to the Garage Sale, please also be collecting grocery sacks, boxes and clothes hangers for our customers to take their treasures home. Please drop those off when you bring in your donations.
Information sheets are available at the table with dates and times of the sale and the preceding prep days. Please post on your refrigerator as a reminder. Also, there will be announcement flyers you can take and distribute to your neighbors and local businesses. If you are on Facebook and Next Door, let folks know about it.
OUMC is asking for your prayers that this Garage Sale will be very successful, not only monetarily but with our outreach to the community as we welcome folks who show up at our door. Thanks be to God for the money that will be raised to reach out to help those in need.
