Rev. Allie Grace Johnson serves as the pastor of Ovilla UMC. As an Elder in The United Methodist Church, she is called to preach and teach the Word of God, administer baptism and preside over Communion, order the life of the church, and serve others in mission and ministry.  She rejoices in the ways she is able to see Christ at work in the world and in others!

A lifelong Texan, Allie Grace grew up in Arlington rooting for the Rangers and despairing over the Cowboys. She attended high school in Michigan before heading south for college (the snow did not agree with her). After graduating with a BA in Political Economics from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee in 2017, she returned to the DFW area to pursue her Master of Divinity at Perkins School of Theology, SMU, graduating in 2021. She then completed a Chaplain Residency and Fellowship in Mental Health at the Dallas VA Medical Center in 2022 and 2023. Allie Grace was ordained as an Elder in full connection in The United Methodist Church in 2025 and has served at The Grove Church, FUMC Arlington, and Keller UMC in various roles. In her free time, she cherishes spending time with her parents, extended family, and friends. She enjoys scary movies, Scrabble, hiking, and watching baseball.

Rev. Allie Grace would welcome the opportunity to walk with you on your faith journey. She believes that as Christians we are all called to grow in grace and spiritual maturity, and considers herself to be a life-long learner in this process. Reach out to let her know how she can pray for you, support you, and encourage you on your walk with Christ.
