Ovilla United Methodist Church was founded in 1886 as a church dedicated to studying the Bible and spreading the gospel.
Of course, we’ve grown since then. What we lovingly call the “Old Sanctuary” is now home to our youth group, children’s Sunday school and other weekly activities.
But our mission remains the same—to “go and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19) And our church family today is as devoted as ever to doing so.
We also own 40+ acres on Ovilla rd over by Westmoreland that we use for sunrise services on Easter, and other special events!
